NEW JESSX VERSION 1.6 jessx version : server 1.6

AGENT TRADER has worked since September 2008 on the developpement of a new kind of robot able to manage an equally weighted portofolio composed by stocks sand bonds. This new robot is more discreet than the previous one, it plays accordind to other players actions. Only the server has been modified.

    TROBOT has worked for two years on this software and is happy to tell you that the new version of jessX is available (May 2008). JessX 1.5 is the newest version of jessX which has the robots. We have created two type of robots which are a Potentially detectable and a not potentially detectable robot. This version allows you to manage very interesting researches or experiences with many people and see the interaction between robots and people.     When you download it, you must extract the entire file JessX 1.5 and then launch .jar executable for the server and the client.

    VERSION 1.4

    TROBOT has worked for more than a year on this software and is happy to tell you that the new version of jessX is available (April 2008). JessX 1.4 is the newest version of jessX which has new facilities such as a variable interest rate and new capacity possibilities. This version allows you to manage very interesting researches or experiences with many people. Feel free to use it and to give us your comments, questions or suggestions at Jessx.project@gmail.com

    We received some questions about that, so we advise you: For the heavy logs, you need to launch the analyzer with the .bat file.

    In order to help in your use of jessX, we have done a report about the limits of jessX which you could donwload. Then you would use jessX with its best performance.

    VERSION 1.3

    After three years of work, the team of developpers released a great version of JessX, reliable, stable, and with a lot of useful features (work progress)... The second team members gives you their release : JessX 1.0 (May 2006). The third team released : JessX 1.3 (May 2007). Feel free to use it.     QUICK START!
    • 1. Check your Java Version (read instructions below). Update it if necessary.
    • 2. Download and unzip the file “JessX 1.3 – software” and read Readme.txt.
    • 3. Read the instruction, here, to start an experiment.

    LATEST VERSION OF JAVA IS NEEDED!

    You must have the version 1.5 or above installed on your computer to use JessX. If you want to know which version is installed and if you are a Windows user, click on "Execute" in the start menu, then type "command". Then type "java -version" (without the quotes),and the version will be displayed. You can download the latest version here (click on "Download JRE").

    SOME EXPERIMENT FILES

    You can download different experiments XML files that allow you to perform experiments without having to set up their scenario yourself. It is very useful for beginners since you can see how these scenarios are created on the server, and imagine your own ones based on these examples.
